Setup 1
To change the ILS CDI selection:
1. Select "CDI / Alarms" from the setup 1 page.
2. Turn the large right knob to hghlght the
"Auto"/"Manual" ILS CDI field.
Turn the small right knob to select "Auto" or

"Manual", as desred. Press ENT to accept the
selecton.
NOTE: Installations with certain autopilots, such
as the KAP 140 and KFC225) do not allow auto-
matic ILS CDI switching.
To set the arrival alarm and alarm distance:
1. Select "CDI / Alarms" from the setup 1 page.
Turn the large right knob to hghlght the

"On"/"Off" feld (drectly below "Arrval
Alarm").
3. Turn the small right knob to select "On" or
"Off", as desred. Press ENT to accept the
selecton.
4. The flashng cursor moves to the alarm ds-
tance field (to the mmedate rght of "On" or
"Off"). To enter an arrval alarm dstance, use
the small and large right knobs to enter
the desred alarm dstance. Press ENT when
finshed.

To set the magnetic variation:
1. Select "Unts / Mag Var" from the Setup 1
page.
2. The flashng cursor hghlghts the headng
mode field. Turn the small right knob to select
the desred headng mode: Auto or True. Press
ENT to accept the selecton.
