6. EVAPORATOR ASSEMBLY

1) Push the Stop Button to drain the water in the Tank.
2) Disconnect the power source.
3) Remove the panels.
4) Unscrew and remove the following parts (see Fig. 1 - 3):
Tank Guide
Spout Switch
Tank Cover (C)
Tank Cover (A) with Heater (Tank)
To completely disconnect it from the unit, loosen the closed end connector or cut the
wire.
Tank Cover (B) with Float Switch
To completely disconnect it from the unit, loosen the closed end connector or cut the
wire. The Float Switch is also removable separately.

Not necessary to remove. The other parts are still removable with this part in place.

Sensor Cover
After loosening the screws, remove the Sensor Cover by sliding it toward the back
of the unit. Otherwise, the Sensor attached to the Sensor Cover may contact the
Sensor Plate and get damaged.

GEAR MOTOR (Fig. 3)
5) Release the Gear Motor together with the Gear Motor Bracket from the Tank, by removing
the three screws and slightly lifting up the assembly. Remove the Belt.
Note: To remove only the Belt for replacement, the three screws on the Gear Motor Bracket
do not need to be removed but should only be loosened.
6) Remove the Gear Motor and the Motor Cover, if necessary. To completely disconnect it
from the unit, loosen the closed end connector or cut the wire.
PULLEY (Fig. 3)
7) Loosen the Hexagon Socket Head Cap Screws, and remove the Pulleys.
