Pressing ASSIGN (F6) will take you to the GPI assignment page.
If the selected machine is a DD1500, the above parameters do not apply and pressing the GPIO
key on the REMOTE page will take you directly to the GPI assignment page:
NOTE: When the selected machine is a DD1500m, only 3 GPIs will be shown.
This screen allows you to set parameters relating to the GPIs. The parameters are:
ACTIVE
FUNCTION
Version 1.00
You may select OFF, HIGH and LOW. When OFF, the GPI has no function.
When set to HIGH, the selected function (see below) will become active
when a +5V signal is received at the GP input. When set to LOW, the
selected function will become active when a 0V signal is received.
Here you may assign a range of DD8 functions to the GPIs. These include:
PLAY - When a pulse is received, playback will start.
STOP - When a pulse is received, playback will stop.
FAST FORWARD - When a pulse is received, the DD will fast forward.
REWIND - When a pulse is received, the DD will rewind.
RECORD - When a pulse is received, the DD will start recording.
PLAY TO - When a pulse is received, the DD will play to the current
NOW time.
PLAY OVER - When a pulse is received, the DD will play over the current
NOW time.
PLAY FROM - When a pulse is received, the DD will play from the current
NOW time.
PLAY IN TO OUT - When a pulse is received, the DD will play from the
selected IN point to the selected OUT point.
PLAY LAST - When a pulse is received, the DD will play the last thing
played.
PLAY BACKWARDS - When a pulse is received, the DD will play in
reverse.
GRAB IN MARK - When a pulse is received, it will mark an IN point.
GRAB SYNC MARK - When a pulse is received, it will mark a SYNC
point.
