Manual Port Switching
Use the front panel push button switches to manually switch to a port.
Powering Off and Restarting
If it becomes necessary to power off a GCS1716, do the following before restarting it:
1. Unplug the unit from its power source.
2. Shut down all the computers that are attached to it.
Note: Unplug the power cords of any computers that have the Keyboard Power On function.
Otherwise, the GCS1716 will still receive power from the computers.
3. Wait 10 seconds, then plug the KVM back in.
4. Power on the computers.
Note: If there are stations cascaded down from it, all the cascaded stations and the computers attached
to them must be shut down as well.
