Using a cascading cable, connect the available CPU port on the upper level GCS1716, to the console
port on the lower level GCS1716. Refer to the diagram on page 27.

Repeat the above step #3 for any additional switches you wish to add by connecting the second unit
to another available CPU port on the first GCS1716.

The Power On sequence requires that all second stage units be powered on first. After they are all on,
the first stage units must be powered on next. Only after all the switches have been powered on in this
sequence, can the computers be powered on.
