Troubleshooting (basic)

Follow the instructions below when a problem has occurred. There is also an advanced
troubleshooting guide in the "Reference Manual". For a software problem, refer to the
software's instruction manual. If the problem persists, contact Panasonic Technical Support.
Starting up
Cannot start up.
The battery indicator is
not lit.
Cannot turn on this
computer.
This computer does not
wake up from sleep.
Cannot start up and the
battery indicator blinks
red.
Nothing appears on the
screen.
The date and time are
incorrect.
Operation is slow.
Cannot wake up.
Other startup problems

x p Connect the AC adaptor.
x p Charge the battery pack.
x p Remove the AC adaptor, then connect it again.
x p Hold down (power button) until the unit vibrates for a moment.
x p This computer may become too hot or too cold. Leave it in an
environment of 5 °C {41 °F} to 35 °C {95 °F} for about an hour,
then turn on the power again.
x p The remaining charge of the battery pack is less than 1 % of a full
charge. Charge the pack for a while, and then turn the power on
again.
x p Some problem is found in the system software. Contact Panasonic
Technical Support.
x p Charge the battery pack.
x p Install the battery pack correctly.
x p Change the battery pack which has been used with a fresh one.
x p Make the correct settings by performing the following steps.
1. Touch – [ Settings] – [
time.
x p If the problem persists, the internal clock battery may need to be
replaced. Contact Panasonic Technical Support.
x p When this computer is connected to network, check the date and
time of the server.
x p The 2036 A.D. or later year will not be correctly recognized on this
tablet computer.
x p Ambient temperature may be high. Move this computer to the
cooler location.
x p The AC adaptor may have been disconnected and the battery pack
may have become completely discharged while the product was in
the sleep mode. In a case like this, any data which has not been
saved will be lost, and the product will not wake up.
x p Remove all peripheral devices.
