SECTION 5—WHEELCHAIR OPERATION
The Information Gauge display also serves as a system diagnostic device when a fault is 
detected by the control module. A specific number of flashes of the LEDs indicates the 
type of fault detected. Refer to the following table of the diagnostic indications of the 
wheelchair status.

DESCRIPTION
All three (3) LEDs are off.
All three (3) LEDs are on.
RED LED is flashing.
Left to Right "chase" alter-
nating with steady display.
GREEN LED is flashing.
All LEDs are flashing slowly. Joystick has detected

DEFINITION
Power is Off.
Power is On.
Battery charge is low.
Joystick is in program-
ming, inhibit and/or charg-
ing mode.
Joystick is in Speed Limit

COMMENTS
Fewer than three (3)
LEDs on implies reduced
battery charge.
The batteries should be
charged as soon as possi-
ble.
The steady LEDs indicate
the current state of the
battery charge.
The current state of bat-
tery charge will be dis-
played at the same time.
Release the joystick back
to Neutral.
Joystick uses Flash codes
to indicate faults.
