APPENDIX I: CONNECTING AUDIO

Use audio capable cameras (not included) to listen to, and record audio on the system*.

To connect audio:
1. Connect RCA audio cables from an audio capable camera(s) to the AUDIO IN ports on the rear
panel of the system. The audio port should correspond to the matching VIDEO IN port (i.e.

2. Connect an RCA audio out cable to the AUDIO OUT port on the rear panel of the system.
3. Right-click anywhere on screen and select MAIN MENU.
4. Click RECORD.
5. Under AUDIO, select ENABLE.
6. Click APPLY and then click CLOSE in the confirmation window.
To adjust volume:
1. From the MAIN MENU click BASIC.
2. Click VIDEO/AUDIO.
3. Click VOLUME SETUP.
4. Click each channel and click and drag the volume slider to increase/decrease the volume.
5. Click X to exit.
6. Click APPLY and then click CLOSE in the confirmation window.
