n Switch on the motor only when the hands and feet are
away from the cutting means.
n Always disconnect the machine from the power supply
(i.e. remove the plug from the mains or remove the
disabling device)
– whenever leaving the machine unattended;
– before clearing a blockage;
– before checking, cleaning or working on the machine;
– after striking a foreign object;
– whenever the machine starts vibrating abnormally.
n Take care against injury to feet and hands from the
cutting means.
n Always ensure that the ventilation openings are kept
clear of debris.
