    Service web site When the latest maintenance diskette and the system program service diskette become available, they will be posted on http://www.ibm.com/pc/partner/spm Restoring the pre-installed system When the hard disk drive is replaced because of a failure, no Product Recovery program is on the new hard disk. In this case, you must use the recovery CD for the computer.

    HDP has been set. If it has, it can be used for access to the hard disk drive. If no master HDP is available, IBM does not provide any services to reset either the user or the master HDP, or to recover data from the hard disk drive.
