• USB
o
This unit cannot recognize aUSB device whose rating
is other than 5Vand exceeds 500 mAo
o
While playing from aUSB device, the playback order
may differ from other players.
o
This unit may be unable to play back some USB
devices or some files due to their characteristics or
recording conditions.
o
USB devices equipped with special functions such as
data security functions cannot be used with the unit.
o
Do not use aUSB device with 2or more partitions.
o
Depending on the shape of the USB devices and
connection ports, some USB devices may not be
attached properly or the connection might be loose.
• When connecting aUSB device, refer also to its
instructions.
o
Connect only one USB device to the unit at atime. Do
not use aUSB hub.
o
This unit may not recognize amemory card inserted
into the USB card reader.
o
When connecting with aUSB cable, use the USB 2.0
cable.
o
This unit may not play back files in aUSB device
properly when using aUSB extension cord.
o
This unit cannot assure proper functions or supply
power to all types of the devices.
MP3/WAV* file playback
o
This unit can play back files with the extension
code <.mp3> or <.wav> (regardless ofthe letter
case-upper/lower).
o
This unit can play back the files meeting the
conditions below:
- Bit rate:
MP3: 32 kbps - 320 kbps
- Sampling frequency:
MP3: 48 kHz, 44.1 kHz, 32 kHz
24 kHz, 22.05 kHz, 16 kHz
WAV: 44.1 kHz
o
This unit can show 103 Tag Version
1.0/1.1/2.2/2.3/2.4 (for MP3).
- 103 Tag Version 2.4 is not available for SO/USB
playback.
o
This unit can also show WAV Tag.
o
This unit can play back files recorded in VBR (variable
bit rate).
o
Files recorded in VBR have adiscrepancy in elapsed
time indication.
o
This unit cannot play back the follOWing files:
- MP3 files encoded with MP3i and MP3 PRO
format.
- MP3 files encoded with Layer 1/2.
* WA Vfiles are played only when recorded on adisc
