CONVENIENCE FEATURES

60/40 Split Rear Seat

The split-folding rear seatback permits
loading of longer items from the trunk.
Folding the Seatback
1. Open the trunk and locate the gray
handles on the upper side of the
trunk opening.
2. Position your hand over the top of
one or both of the handles and pull
toward you. The left handle opens
the larger seatback; the right handle
opens the smaller side.
3. Push the seatback open through the
trunk or pull it open from inside the
vehicle.
To return the seatback to an upright
position, push it up until you hear a
click and then pull on the seatback
to make sure it is secure.

Retractable Hardtop Convertible
(if equipped)
Before operating the hardtop:
• The vehicle must be in Park, and
the engine must be running or the
ignition must be turned on.
• The trunk cargo cover must be fully
closed, and the trunk must be
closed.

• Make sure any item stowed in the
trunk fits beneath the cargo cover.
• Make sure nothing is on top or in
front of the cargo cover in the trunk.
If an item cannot be stowed without
contacting the cargo cover, do not
operate the retractable hardtop or
damage may occur.
Note: With the hardtop lowered, the trunk
cannot be opened. The trunk release
buttons on the driver's door and Remote
Keyless Entry transmitter will be disabled.
Lower or Raise the Hardtop
The switch to operate the retractable
hardtop is located on the headliner
between the front reading lamps.
• Press and hold the switch rearward
to lower the hardtop and forward to
raise the hardtop.
Always fully open or close the hardtop
by holding the switch until the cycle is
complete and a chime sounds. To auto-
matically close the windows, continue
to hold the switch for two seconds after
the cycle is complete.

Window Indexing

(Coupe/Convertible only)
To provide a tight seal around the doors,
the window will automatically lower
slightly when the door is opened and
then automatically rise fully when the
door is closed.
Follow the Owner Manual procedure
for initializing the indexing feature
if battery power is disconnected.
