    Meijer.com HARDWARE IDENTIFICATION CHART This chart is provided to help identify the hardware used in the assembly process. Place the washers or the ends of the bolts or screws on the circles to check for the correct diameter. Use the small scale to check the length of the bolts and screws.

    Meijer.com ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Place all parts from the box in a cleared area and position them on the floor in front of you. Remove all packing materials from your area and place them back into the box. Do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed.
  • Page 8 Meijer.com ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 3 Attach the REAR STABILIZER(2) to the REAR SUPPORT(4) with BUTTON HEAD BOLTS(M8x1.25x25mm) (48), LOCK WASHERS(M8)(65), and WASHERS(M8)(61). STEP 4 Attach the REAR SUPPORT(4) to the RAIL(5) with the SUPPORT PLATE(12), BUTTON HEAD BOLTS (M8x1.25x60mm)(45), LOCK WASHERS(M8)(65), and WASHERS(M8)(61). STEP 5 Attach the LEFT and RIGHT RAIL COVERS(73, 74) to the MAIN FRAME(1) and the RAIL(5) with ROUND HEAD SCREWS(M4x20mm)(56).

STEP 7 Attach the SEAT(27) to the SEAT CARRIAGE(6) with two BUTTON HEAD BOLTS(M8x1.25x20mm)(49). Attach the HANDRAIL(9) to the SEAT CARRIAGE(6) with BUTTON HEAD BOLTS(M8x1.25x75mm)(44), ARC WASHERS(M8)(58), WASHERS(M8)(61), and NYLOCK NUTS(M8x1.25)(67).
  • Page 10 Meijer.com ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 8 Insert the BACK FRAME(7) into the SEAT CARRIAGE(6) and secure with BUTTON HEAD BOLTS (M8x1.25x20mm)(49), and ARC WASHERS(M8)(58). STEP 9 NOTE: The RIGHT PEDAL(89) has R stamped on the end of the pedal shaft. The RIGHT PEDAL(89) has right hand threads and is tightened by turning clockwise.

Insert the TENSION CABLE(32) through the UPRIGHT(11) until the TENSION CABLE(32) is through and extends out of the square opening in the side of the UPRIGHT(11). Connect the CONNECTION WIRE(33) to the SENSOR WIRE(31). Slide the UPRIGHT(11) onto the MAIN FRAME(1) and secure with BUTTON HEAD BOLTS(M8x1.25x20mm)(49), LOCK WASHERS(M8)(65), WASHERS(M8)(61), and ARC WASHERS(M8)(58).

    Meijer.com SET UP INSTRUCTIONS Place the AVARI® 2000R Recumbent Bike in the area where it will be used. It is recommended that the AVARI® 2000R Recumbent Bike be placed on an equipment mat. The AVARI® 2000R Recumbent Bike is approximately 59.3 inches long x 24.5 inches wide x 43.2 inches tall. (These dimensions may vary up to one inch.)     Meijer.com OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS SEAT ADJUSTMENT Proper seat adjustment is important. 1. Turn the ADJUSTMENT LEVER(8) counterclockwise to loosen the SEAT CARRIAGE(6). Slide the SEAT ASSEMBLY forward or backward to adjust the seat, and securely tighten the ADJUSTMENT LEVER(8) by turning it clockwise after adjusting the seat to a new position. Refer to the illustration below.

If you are 150 pounds and 10% fat, it means that your body consists of 15 pounds fat and 135 pounds lean body mass (bone, muscle, organ tissue, blood and everything else).

    Meijer.com CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise program depends on your physical condition. If you have been inactive for several years or are severely overweight, start slowly and increase your workout time gradually. Increase your workout intensity gradually by monitoring your heart rate while you exercise. Remember to follow these essentials: Have your doctor review your training and diet programs.
