Settings
Accessing System Settings
Program Language
The Settings screen has other useful functions
in customizing your Magellan receiver. After
you have used your receiver for a while you
may want to come back to th is screen and
select how the information is displayed on the
Map screen, sound levels and output, which
warnings are announced, etc.
Backup and Restore options are also available
on the Settings screen to provide a means of
saving and retrieving address information to
and from an optional microSD card.
Select from English, Spanish or French
Canadian.
Auto Power
If the touchscreen hasn't been accessed
or the current position hasn't changed for
a defined period of time, the Magellan
Maestro receiver can be set to power off.
Use the Auto Power setti ng to defi ne the
period of time desired.
Brightness
Set the desired brightness level.
Time Format
Select how time is displayed (24 hour or
12 hour).

Select the units of measure for distance
measurements; Kilometers/meters or
Miles/feet.
