Using the Software on the Macintosh Platform - Advanced Techniques
Converting RAW Images
RAW images contain raw data that has not been subjected to any compression processing by
the camera. In order to view the images on a computer, you must use ImageBrowser to convert
the RAW images into JPEG or TIFF images. If you use the Image Quality Adjustment Window,
you can adjust the image to achieve the desired effect.

The recording of RAW images can only be performed with camera models

that list [RAW] as one of the compatible data types in the Specifications
section of the Camera User Guide.
Procedures for Converting RAW Images

Select a RAW image in ImageBrowser's Browser Area.

Click [File] menu, followed by [Process RAW Images].
When the window showing the procedures for converting and adjusting RAW images
appears, click [OK].
The Main Window, Navigator, and Image Quality Adjustment Window will display.
You can use this button to switch between
images and set various conversion settings,
such as the image rotation.

you click on and
move the red
mark, you can
change the portion
of the image
displayed in the
preview section.
