Shooting in Manual Focus Mode
The focus can be manually set.
• Not available in
C!IID
or
c:Q
mode.

Turn on the LCD monitor.
Press the MF button several times.
MF Indicator

The
[Mf]
icon and the MF indicator
are displayed.
When the
[!J
menu's [MF-Point
Zoom] is set to [On], the portion of
the image in the AF frame will
appear magnified". The magnified
position will differ depending on the
AF Frame Mode (p.
93)
setting.
- When set to [Face Detect], [AiAF]
or [Center], the center of the LCD
monitor is magnified.
- When set to [FlexiZone], the location of the AF frame
displayed immediately prior to setting the manual focus will
display magnified.
" The image will not appear magnified in ." mode, when the digital
zoom or digital tele-converter is activated or when a TV is used as the
display.

Can also be set so that the image displayed is not magnified (p. 45).
