Disabled
When enabled, Console
On-board COM A Redirection uses the I/O port
On-board COM B specified. Choosing Disabled
completely disables Console
Redirection.
3 When Console Redirection is

assigned per the COM Port
Address chosen above.
3F8 When Console Redirection is
2F8 enabled, this shows the base
I/O address assigned per the
COM Port address chosen
above.

When Console Redirection is
19.2 KB enabled, use the baud rate
38.4 KB specified. When EMP is
57.6 KB sharing the COM port as
115.2 KB console redirection, the baud
rate must be set to 19.2 KB to
match EMP baud rate, unless
auto-baud feature is used.
None None = No flow control.
CTS/RTS CTS/RTS = Hardware based
XON/XOFF flow control.
CTS/RTS + CD
XON/XOFF = Software flow
control.
CTS/RTS +CD = Hardware
based + Carrier Detect flow
control.
When EMP is sharing the
COM port as console
redirection, the flow control
must be set to CTS/RTS or
CTS/RTS+CD depending on
whether a modem is used.
