Current is applied (120 VOLTS AC) to terminals 4 and 2 (neutral) when any cy

selected before pressing start.
• This energizes the bi‐metal but does not lock as the cam prevents it
from doing so.
The lid should not be locked at this stage. If it does press the start

button to unlock.
