9.1.4.10 Addition of Cordless Handsets (Function code 33) (User-accessible)

Function
This function allows you to register cordless handsets and deregister all cordless handsets.
Operating Procedure

On the machine (base unit)
(1) Press the 3 key twice in the initial stage of the maintenance mode. For models without
numerical keypad, enter 3 twice in this order using the
The "REGISTER HANDSET" appears on the LCD.
(2) To register cordless handset 1, 2, 3 or 4, press the 1, 2, 3, or 4 key, respectively.
On the cordless handset
(3) Press the Menu/OK key.

The handset is registered with the number specified in step (2) above. The LCD indication
on the machine (base unit) does not change.
On the machine (base unit)
(5) Press the Stop/Exit key.
The machine returns to the ready-to-register state, showing the "REGISTER HANDSET"
on the LCD.
(6) Press the Stop/Exit key again.
The machine returns to the initial stage of the maintenance mode.
