Requires the use of POP Authentication
before send email (POP before SMTP):
Select this check box if POP
authentication is required when
connecting to the SMTP server.
Incoming Mail Server (POP3):
When POP authentication is used for the
"POP before SMTP" setting, enter the
POP3 server address here.
Account Name:
Enter the e-mail account name here.
Password:
Enter the e-mail password here.
Send test mail:
To test whether e-mail can be sent
successfully to the specified address(es),
select this check box and click the "Apply"
button. A test e-mail will be sent.
Note
If any of these items is not set or not set
correctly, an error message appears, and the
test e-mail cannot be sent.
Error Report (Display)
Send mail when a display error occurs. Click
the "View" button to review a sample of the
error report to be emailed for the display.
Error Report (Player)
Send mail when a player error occurs. Click
the "View" button to review a sample of the
error report to be emailed for the player.
Status Report (Display)
A display status report is sent at the timing
set in "Day of week," "Time," and
"Interval." Click the "View" button to
review a sample of the status report to be
emailed for the display.

A player status report is sent at the timing set
in "Day of week," "Time," and "Interval."
Click the "View" button to review a sample
of the status report to be emailed for the
player.

Set this to send the information of all items
that occurred.
• Summary
Set this to send some information and the
summary result for each status of items
that occurred.
Day of week
Lets you set the day of the week on which to
send status report e-mails.
Time
Lets you set the time at which to send status
report e-mails.
Interval
Lets you set the interval at which to send
status report e-mails.

Returning to Default Settings

To return the player to its factory default
settings, first disconnect the power cord,
then reconnect it while holding down the
INFO button. Hold down the INFO button
until the standby indicator flashes red.
If an SDHC Memory Card is inserted in the
player during this operation, all files and
folders located in the SCAnnnnnnn
("nnnnnnn" is the player's serial number)
folder will be deleted. Be aware that all data
outside of this folder will not be deleted.
