Introduction
Always consult your local Building Department regarding regula-
tions, codes or ordinances which apply to the installation of a
vented decorative gas log set in a solid-fuel burning fireplace.
This appliance is only for use with the type of gas indicated on
the rating plate.
Instructions to Installer
1.
Installer must leave instruction manual with owner after
installation.
2.
Installer must have owner fill out and mail warranty card
supplied with the fireplace.
3.
Installer should show owner how to start and operate the
fireplace.

ANY CHANGE TO THIS APPLIANCE OR ITS CONTROLS
CAN BE DANGEROUS.
Improper installation or use of the appliance can cause se-
rious injury or death from fire, burns, explosion or carbon
monoxide poisoning.

DO NOT use sand in Liquid Propane Hearth Kits. Use the Ver-
miculite, provided with the Liquid Propane Change Kit.

shown on the rating plate is the responsibility of the person
and company making the change.

All correspondence should refer to complete Model No., Serial
No. and type of gas.

will detect an odor as the ceramic logs and branches are cured.

per 1000 feet for altitudes above 2000 feet. In Canada, input BTU
