Plural Listeners (2-Z0NE function)
• To switch the 2-Z0NE function ONI
OFF
1. Press and hold the [SOUND] button on the
unit for 1 second or longer.
• To switch the 2-Z0NE type
Press and hold the [I] button on the unit for 1
second or longer while the 2-Z0NE function is
in use.
• To switch the 2-Z0NE function
operation mode
Press the [I] button on the unit while the 2-
ZONE function is in use.

Screen display in the title
entry mode
• Main display
This is displayed when the title entry mode is
selected. (cf. page 14)
• Text list display
This is displayed by touching and holding RTN
for 1 second or longer in the main display.
RTN
Touching this cancels entry of titles, and returns
the display to the original screen. Touching and
holding this for 1 second or longer displays the
text list matched to current text type.
MEMO
Touching and holding this for 2 seconds or
longer stores the title that was input, and returns
the display to the original screen.

a: Small alphabet letters
0-9: Numbers
I?: Symbols

Title display
The currently entered title is displayed. Touch

to determine the entry position. Touching
and holding the button for 2 seconds or longer
causes all title text to disappear.

Selecting the mode when the
2-Z0NE function is in use
When you load a CD while the 2-Z0NE function
is in use, the functions of the internal mode on
this unit change to CD, and play starts
automatically.
1. Press the [I] button on the unit to switch the
2-Z0NE function operation mode.
The display for the equipment (speaker or
headphone) that can be currently operated
is switched.
2. Press and hold the [I] button for 1 second or
longer to select the 2-Z0NE type.
The "INT." or "EXT." display is toggled.
3. Press the [ROTARY] knob.
Each press of the [ROTARY] knob while
"INT." is displayed switches the mode as
follows:
Radio" CD .. AUX .. Radio...
Each press of the [ROTARY] knob while
"EXT." is displayed switches the mode as
follows:
AUX .. (SIRIUS) .. (CD changer) .. (DVD
changer) .. (TV *1) .. AUX...

The mode of equipment that is not
connected is not displayed.

When the TV mode is selected, the mode
automatically changes to the VTR mode,
and cannot be changed.
