• The equipment should be
disconnected by removing the
mains plug from the wall
socket when not in regular
use, e.g. when on vacation.

POWER-CORD CAUTION

Handle the power cord by the plug.
Do not pull out the plug by tugging
the cord and never touch the
power cord when your hands are
wet as this could cause a short
circuit or an electric shock. Do not
place the unit, a piece of furniture,
etc., on the power cord, or pinch
the cord. Never make a knot in the
cord or tie it with other cords. The
power cords should be routed
such that they are not likely to be
stepped on. A damaged power
cord can cause a fire or give you
an electrical shock. Check the
power cord once in a while. When
you find it damaged, ask your
nearest Pioneer authorized service
center or your dealer for a replace-
ment.
Operating other
Pioneer components
By connecting a control cord
(optional), you can point the
remote controls of other Pioneer
components at the receiver's
remote sensor. You can also use
the remote control from this unit to
control a Pioneer DVD player. The
remote control signals are re-
ceived by the remote sensor of this
unit, and sent to the other devices
via the CONTROL OUT terminal.

Manipule el cable de alimentación

del enchufe estirando del cable y no
lo toque nunca con las manos
mojadas, ya que podría provocar un
cortocircuito o descarga eléctrica.
No coloque el aparato, muebles,
etc., sobre el cable de alimentación,
ni permita que quede atrapado. No
anude el cable ni lo ate a otros
cables. Los cables de alimentación
deberán ir entroncados para evitar
pisarlos. Un cable de alimentación
dañado puede provocar un incendio
o una descarga eléctrica.
Compruebe ocasionalmente que el
cable está en buenas condiciones.
Si lo encontrase dañado, solicite un
cable de repuesto en su centro de
servicio autorizado o distribuidor de
productos Pioneer más próximo.
Funcionamiento de
otros componentes
Pioneer
Al conectar un cable de control
(opcional) puede apuntar con los
mandos a distancia de otros
componentes Pioneer el sensor
remoto del receptor. También
puede utilizar el mando a distancia
de este aparato para controlar un
reproductor de DVDs Pioneer. Las
señales del mando a distancia las
recibe el sensor remoto de este
aparato y se envían a otros
dispositivos a través del terminal
