Before you send a message, you can press Options
to select Save to Drafts, Cancel Message, or Sending Options
(such as message Subject or Attachments).

To send the message, press Send.
Note: Your phone may indicate this is a Multimedia Msg.
Some phones or networks do not multimedia
messages. Press Yes to send the message.
receive text message
When you receive a message, your phone
plays an alert, and the display shows New Message
with a message indicator, such as
Press Read to open the message.
In a multimedia message, photos, pictures, and
animations are displayed as you read the message.
A sound file plays when its slide is displayed. Press

to adjust the volume.

Attached files are added to the end of the message.
To open an attachment, scroll to the file indicator/file
name and press View, Play, or Open.
instant messaging
Use instant messaging to share messages with your
friends in real time.

IM > IM account
Select the account to log in. If you don't have an IM
account, select [New Account] to create one.
• To find others online, select Contact List to see a
list of other users.
• To start a conversation, select a name in the
Online Contacts list.
• To open an active conversation, scroll to a
name in the Conversations list.
