Multiple text entry modes make it easy for you to
enter names, numbers, and messages:

Primary
Enter text using the method you set.
Numeric
Enter numbers only (see page 53).
Symbol
Enter symbols only (see page 53).
Secondary
Enter text using the method you set.
To set up Primary or Secondary entry mode:

Press the Options in any text entry screen.

Scroll to Text Setup and press Select.

Scroll to Primary Text or Secondary Text and press Select.
