Headset Mode
This feature allows you hands-free phone use. Set the headset mode
to Voice Call or Push 2 Talk and press the Turbo Button (the operation
button) on the headset to activate useful functions.
To connect the stereo headset:
Simply plug the headset into your phone's headset jack.
To set headset mode:
1.
Press
2.
Select Settings and press
3.
Select Others and press
4.
Select Headset Mode and press
5.
Select Turbo Button and press
6.
Select an option from the following and press
Voice Calls: Press the Turbo Button to activate ASR
(Automatic Speech Recognition). Press twice to redial the
last call. Press and hold the button to activate the Voice
Memo function. (See page 92 for ASR.)
Push 2 Talk: Press the Turbo Button to make a Push 2 Talk call
by using ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition). Press twice
to redial the last Push 2 Talk call. (See page 92 for ASR.)
Off: Turns this feature off.
To set the sound mode:
1.
Follow steps 1-4 above.
2.
Select Earpiece and press
3.
Select either Stereo or Mono and press
To set the ringer sound:
1.
Follow steps 1-4 above.
2.
Select Ringer Sound and press
3.
Select Normal or Headset Only and press
Note:
Use only the supplied stereo headset; Please make sure to insert the headset
plug into the headset jack as far as it goes. Improper connection of the headset plug
can cause abnormal sounds. Headset Mode cannot be used during TTY mode.
Note:
A high volume setting may cause the audio to deteriorate or "crack."
