A long timeout setting for a
PC will prevent other PCs
from accessing the port it
is connected to, while
allowing the connected PC
to send numerous print
jobs. If you do not want to
wait a long time between
various users print jobs, it
is suggested that you send
a disconnect code at the
end of the print job to
override the timeout.
A longer timeout may be
required when sending
large text files, graphics
files, or downloading fonts.
A zero will disable the
Input Inactivity Timeout
and the end of a print job
will occur only when codes
are manually entered and
sent from the connected
PC.
WARNING: Do not set
timeout to zero seconds
when Port Select Mode B
