When the set point is increased, a line appears above the 6
Sense ™ System control temperature line. When the set point
is decreased, a line appears below the 6
control temperature line.

If the current room temperature is lower than the temperature
set point, Dry mode is selected. Fan runs on Auto speed only.
If the current room temperature is higher than the
temperature set point, Cooling mode is selected. Fan speed
may be selected by the user.
1. Press 6 th Sense ™ .
2. In Cooling mode, press FAN to select Auto, High and Low.
RapidCool ™ Control
Used for fast cooling. The air conditioner automatically sets the
fan speed to High and the temperature to 64°F (18ºC).
NOTE: 6 th Sense ™ System control button does not operate when
™
RapidCool control is selected.
1. Press RapidCool ™ . The air conditioner automatically sets the
fan speed to High and the temperature to 64°F (18ºC).
2. To turn off RapidCool ™ control, press RapidCool control,
Mode, Fan, Power or the up arrow button.

Fan Speed (in Cooling or Fan Only modes)
1. Press FAN until you see the symbol glow for the desired
setting.
2. Choose Auto, High or Low.
Auto—automatically controls fan speed depending on
current room temperature and temperature control
setting.
NOTE: Auto fan speed cannot be selected in Fan Only
mode.
High—for maximum cooling
Low—for minimum cooling
Temperature
Press the up arrow button to raise the temperature. Press the
up arrow button once to increase the set temperature by 2ºF
(1ºC), or press twice to increase the set temperature by 4ºF
(2ºC).
Press the down arrow button to lower the temperature. Press
the down arrow button to decrease the set temperature by
2ºF (1ºC), or press twice to decrease the set temperature by
4ºF (2ºC).
NOTES:
In the Cooling mode, the temperature can be set between
64ºF and 90ºF (18ºC and 32ºC).
In Fan Only mode and 6
temperature cannot be set.
To change the temperature display from ºF to ºC, press the
change display button on the remote control.
