Rapid Deployment Pack (RDP) extends HP Systems Insight Manager
with a complete deployment solution for HP ProLiant servers. RDP
provides a central location to configure server hardware, deploy
Windows, Linux and VMware ESX operating environments and install
HP ProLiant Support Pack drivers using images and scripted profiles.

Enables the embedded Multifunction network controller to serve as
both a NIC and an iSCSI HBA providing access to SAN storage over
the same connection used for networking. Processing of the protocol
stack is offloaded to the NIC reducing CPU utilization and greatly
improving the speed with which the requests are processed and sent to
the network.
Upgrades the single-server remote management capabilities of iLO
Select/Advanced to include centralized reporting and policy-based
management of power consumption and thermal output provided by
the Insight Power Manager. IPM unifies all of this functionality within a
single user interface - HP Systems Insight Manager.
