First steps
Initial charging and discharging of the battery
The correct charge status can only be displayed once the battery is first fully
charged and discharged.

Charge the handset in the charger for 3 hours.
Please note
Only place the handset in the designated charger.

After charging, remove the handset from the charger and only replace it when
the battery is fully discharged.
Please note

After the initial battery charge and discharge, you may place your handset in
the base after every call.

Always repeat the charging and discharging procedure if you remove the
battery from the handset and reinsert them.

The battery may warm up during charging. This is not dangerous.

After a while, the charge capacity of the battery will decrease for technical
reasons.

Registering the handset

Your Gigaset handset can be registered on up to four bases. You must register the
handset on both the handset (1) and the base (2).
Once the registration process has been completed successfully, the handset returns
to idle status. The handset's internal number is shown in the display, e.g., INT 1. If
not, repeat the procedure.
