Troubleshooting

Follow Pressure Relief Procedure, page 15,
before checking or repairing gun.
PROBLEM
Gun does not fully actuate when trig-
gered.
Fluid does not spray when gun is fully
actuated.
Gun actuates slowly.
Gun delays, then actuates abruptly.
Loss of round pattern.
Loss of flat pattern.
Leakage between flat tip and mix
chamber.
Pressure imbalance.

To prevent cross-contamination of the gun's wetted
parts, do not interchange A component (isocyanate)
and B component (resin) parts.
CAUSE
Safety lock engaged.
Plugged muffler (22).
Damaged air valve o-rings (24).
Closed fluid valves (12b).
Plugged impingement ports.
Plugged check valves (26).
Plugged muffler (22).
Damaged piston o-rings (16, 17).
Dirty air valve, or damaged o-rings
(24).
Cured material around side seals
(18).
Retaining ring (9) not bottomed out.
Dirty mix chamber nozzle.
Plugged spray tip.
Worn tip.
Dirty mix chamber nozzle.
Tip not seated properly.
Damaged/missing o-ring (40).
Plugged impingement ports.
Plugged check valves (26).
Viscosities not equal.
Check all possible problems and causes before
disassembling gun.
CAUTION
Disengage safety lock, page 10.
Clean, page 20.
Replace, page 33.
Open.

Clean air valve or replace o-rings,

Inspect side seals (18c) and mix
chamber (19) for scratches. Replace,

Tighten retaining ring until bottomed
