Connecting a Mobile Device to the
ScanSnap Using Wireless LAN
Once you connect the ScanSnap and a mobile device via wireless LAN, you can use the
mobile device to scan a document with the ScanSnap and send the scanned image directly
to the mobile device.
Preparation
To connect the ScanSnap and a mobile device via a wireless LAN, you must prepare the
following in advance.
An environment in which a wireless LAN is available
ScanSnap Connect Application
ScanSnap Connect Application must be installed in the mobile device that you want to
connect. Download ScanSnap Connect Application for the mobile device from an
application store such as the App Store or Google Play.
Overview of Wireless Settings
To connect the ScanSnap and a mobile device via wireless LAN, you need to perform the
following:
1.
Connect the ScanSnap to your wireless access point
ATTENTION
Do not place the following within 100 mm of the ScanSnap, or near your wireless access point.
Obstacles that block radio waves (e.g. walls or metal plates)
Devices that cause radio wave interference (e.g. microwave ovens or cordless phones), or
wireless devices
