3. Setting up Email Notification.
This function allows you to receive email messages if your system detects some type of motion. To receive
email notification when your camera detects motion, you must first enter the information for your email
addresses using your IPTOOL program. To do this, follow these steps:
a. Go to: [START→ALL PROGRAMS→CONTROL CENTER→IPTOOL] on your Windows Start Bar. This will
generate a dialog box listing all connected IP Cameras (see Figure 2). From here, right click on the camera
you wish to set up to receive emails and choose the [browse with IE] option from your right click dialog
box (as illustrated in Figure 3). This will generate a prompt for your User Name and Password (see Figure
5). Enter your information accordingly and you will see a live feed from your Q-See IP Camera in your IE
Browser. Click on the Setup button on the toolbar within your Q-See IP Camera Live Feed screen (Figure
8).
