TROUBLESHOOTING

We do not expect you to have any problems with your TAD, but
if you do, try these suggestions. If the TAD still does not operate
properly, take it to your local RadioShack store for assistance.
Problem
The TAD does not
answer calls.
The outgoing
announcement is dis-
torted.
The TAD does not
respond to remote
commands.

Remedy
Check all phone line connections.
Make sure AC power is con-
nected.
The TAD is full of messages.
Delete some messages.
The TAD is off. Press
STOP/ON/
to turn on the TAD.
OFF
Re-record the announcement,
speaking in a normal tone about
10 inches from the TAD.
Re-enter your remote operation
security code.
Check for a power failure and
make sure AC power is con-
nected.
Do not enter commands while the
TAD is making announcements or
sounding tones.
