Pre-select the next MidiFile to play
During the playback of a MidiFile, it is possible to scroll the MidiFiles contained in the
Floppy Disk in order to select the next one to play.
1. Insert the floppy disk containing MidiFiles into the drive and start the playback as
already described.
2. During the playback of the current MidiFile, use the [YES/+] and [NO/–] buttons
to scroll the MidiFiles present on disk. This allows you to select the next MidiFile
to play after the end of the current one. The title of the selected file will be shown
flashing as an indication that it is "on standby", ready to play.
When you press Stop, the current MidiFile will stop. Now press Play to listen to
the preselected MidiFile.

Melody Off

The Melody Off feature allows you to cancel the melody of the song in playback in
order to play the melody yourself. The Melody track is indicated by the LED of the
MELODY 1 button in the Sequencer.
1. During the playback of the Midi File, deactivate the melody by pressing the
[MELODY 1] button in the sequencer.
The LED of the button will turn off and the keyboard will activate with the sound
assigned to the melody track.
You can now play along with the song.
2. Press the same button [MELODY 1] to restore the melody.

Saving GK350 data to the Midi File data disk

If there is sufficient space on your Midi File data disks, you can save GK350 Memory
data to them without fear of overwriting the Midi Files.
Procedure
1. Insert the disk into the drive and press [F. DISK].
The WAIT message is shown for a short period.
After the WAIT message, the display shows the name of the first available MIDI
File.
2. Press the [F.DISK] button again to pass to the Save All page and proceed using
the method described in point 4 of the Save All explanation on page 19.
If the Midi File data disk already contains a GK350 Memory file, the first option
shown after pressing [F. DISK] (in point 2 above) will be the LOAD ALL option. In
this case, press [F. DISK] once again to pass to the SAVE ALL page and proceed
as already described.
If you try to save your data when the disk is full, the display shows the "FULL"
message for about 3 seconds, then the instrument returns to the Normal situa-
tion.

Loading GK350 Memory data from a data disk containing Midi Files

After entering Disk mode with the disk inserted in the drive, as soon as the display
shows the first available MIDI File, press the [F. DISK] button to pass to the Load All
page and proceed using the method described in point 2 of the Load All explanation
on page 20.
Note: During MidiFile playback, you can use the
Transpose INC/DEC buttons to transpose the
song up or down.
You can also change the playback speed of the
