You can view the display texts in different
languages.

The current language is indicated by Ø.

Select language and press

If you accidentally choose a language you do
not understand, in idle status:

Press the keys in sequence.

Select the correct language and
press the right display key.

Setting the display

Setting the screensaver
You can select a picture or the time to be dis-
played as a screensaver when the handset is
in idle status. This replaces the idle status
display. It may conceal the date, time and
name.
The screensaver is not displayed in certain
situations e.g., during a call or if the handset
is de-registered.
If a screensaver is activated, the Screensaver
menu option is marked with μ.

The current setting is displayed.
¤ You can enter data in the following fields:
Activation:
Select On (screensaver is displayed) or
Off (no screensaver).
Selection:
Select screensaver or

Press the display key. The active
screensaver is displayed.

Press the display key.
If the screensaver conceals the display,
briefly press a to show the idle display.

Setting large font
You can increase the font size of the print
and symbols in call lists and the directory to
improve readability. Only one entry is shown
at a time on the display, instead of several
entries, and names are abbreviated if neces-
sary.

Setting the colour schemes
You can set the display to show a dark or a
light background.

Setting the display backlight
Depending on whether or not the handset is
in the base/charger, you can activate or
deactivate the backlight. If it is activated, the
display is permanently dimmed. If the back-
light is deactivated it is switched on by
pressing any key. Digit keys appear on the
display for pre-dialling; all other keys do not
have any further functions.

Please note
The On setting can significantly
reduce the standby time of the hand-
set.
