Changing the down sampling setting

sampling setting
Converts linear PCM (LPCM) voice
signals recorded on the DVD disc to
downsampling 48 kHz/16 bit digital
ENT
signals and outputs them from the optical
cable.
Select "DOWN SAMPLING" under
"Changing the default settings
(SET UP)" on page 24.
Move the "Joystick" up and
down to choose ON or OFF and,
then press "ENT".

The digital signals recorded on the DVD
disc with 96K/24bit, 48K/24bit, 48K/20bit
sampling are converted into digital signals
with 48K/16bits sampling for output from
the optical cable.
OFF
The digital signals recorded on the DVD
disc with 96K/24bit, 48K/24bit, 48K/20bit
sampling are not converted into digital
signals with 48K/16bits sampling. They
are not output from the optical cable.
Set to ON at time of shipment from
factory.
