This unique cartridge features an advanced patented media which continually inhibits the growth of odor-
causing bacteria and mold in the cartridge as well as prevents the buildup of minerals in your humidifier.
In addition, the Protec
Protec ™ Antimicrobial Treated Filter: Your filter has been treated with Protec

for its life – approximately 1-3 months**. Keep in mind, depending on your water quality, mineral deposits
can still clog or discolor the filter, affecting its life and that of the humidifier.
