Spark Arrester Maintenance
If the generator has been running,the muffler will be very hot. Allow it to
cool before proceeding.
1 NOTICE 1 The spark arrester must be serviced every 100 hours to
maintain its efficiency.
1. Loosen the five 6 mm bolts to remove the muffler protector.

2. Remove the two 8 mm bolts at the exhaust pipe and the 8 mm bolt at the
muffler stay.
Remove the muffler and the spark arrester.
