Tuning in radio stations

Connect the antenna beforehand (vpage 5).

Listening to FM/AM broadcasts

Press to select the reception band.
The reception band is toggled as shown below each time
[TUNER]
is pressed.
FM When listening to an FM broadcast.
AM When listening to an AM broadcast.
The reception band can also be selected by pressing
(vpage 8).

Tune in the desired broadcast station.
When a station is received, the will light.
Auto tuning To tune in automatically.

Press or to select the station you want
to hear.
Manual tuning To tune in manually.

If the desired station cannot be tuned in with auto tuning, tune it in
manually.
When tuning in stations manually, press and hold

Automatically presetting FM stations
(Auto Preset)
This unit can be preset with a total of 99, FM broadcast stations.
Perform this operation when tuned to an FM broadcast station.
NOTE
Auto preset is not possible with AM broadcast stations.

Use to select "Start", then press
< 1 / 3 ENTER>

"Searching" appears in the display, and the unit searches for
radio stations. When the search is complete, "Complete!!"
appears.
Canceling auto presetting

NOTE
Broadcast stations whose antenna signal are weak cannot be preset
automatically. If you wish to preset such stations, tune them in
manually.
If number that was already assigned as a preset is selected, the old
preset information is overwritten with the new information.

Presetting FM/AM stations manually

This unit can be preset with a total of 99 FM and AM broadcast
stations.

Names of up to 8 characters can be input.
Tune in the preset channel you want to name.
[TUNER PRESET]
Press and hold .
The display switches to the station name input display.
Input the station name.
For character input, see page 31.

The characters you have input are entered.
To give names to other stations, repeat steps 1 to 4.
Tune in the station you want to preset.
[TUNER PRESET]

"Preset" menu appears.

The reception frequency and reception mode are preset and
the display switches to the station name input display.
Input the station name.
For character input, see page 31.
If you do not want to input a station name, press

If you make a mistake inputting, re-input the correct station name.
Whatever was previously input is overwritten.
