Detergents with its chemical ingredients are necessary to remove dirt, crush dirt and
transport it out of the dishwasher. Most of commercial quality detergents are suitable
for this purpose.
Concentrated Detergent
Based on their c hemical composition, dishwasher can be split in two basic types:
conventional, alkaline detergents w ith causti c com pone nts
low alkaline concentrate d detergents wi th na tural enzymes
The u se of "normal" washing prog rammes in conjunction with concentrated detergents
reduc es pollution and is go od fo r your dishes; these wash programmes ar e specially matched
to the dirt-dissolving propertie s of the enzymes of the concentrated detergent. For this re ason
"normal"wash programmes in whi ch concentrated detergents are used can achieve the
same results that can otherwise only be achieved using "strong" progra mme s.
Detergent Tablets
Detergent tablets of different br ands dissolve at diffe rent speeds. For this reason some
deter gent tablets cannot dissolve and deve lop their full cleaning power during short
programmes. Therefore please use l ong p rogrammes when using deterge nt ta blets, to
unsure the complete removal of detergent resid uals.
Detergent Dispenser
The d ispenser must be refilled before the start of each wash cycle followin g the instructions
provi ded in the Wash Cycle Table.Your dishwas hers use less deterge nt and rins e aid
then conventional dishwashers . Generally, only one tablespoo n of deterg ent is needed for
a normal wash load. Also, more heavily soiled items need more detergent. Alw ays add the
deter gent just before starting dishwasher, otherwise it could ge t damp an d will not dissolve
properly.
Amount of Detergent to Use

If the lid is cl osed: press release button. The lid springs open.

Always ad d the detergent just before starting each wash cycle.
Only use branded detergent aid for dishwasher.
Dishwasher detergent is corrosive! Take care to keep it out of reach of children.
Proper Use of Detergent
Use only detergent specifically made for use in dishwashers. Keep your detergent fresh
and dry. Don't put powder detergent into the dispenser until you're ready to wash dishes.
