I/O Devices
The backplane of the main board has the following I/O ports:

Description
Use the upper PS/2 port to connect a PS/2 pointing
device.
Use the lower PS/2 port to connect a PS/2 keyboard.
Use LPT1 to connect printers or other parallel
communication devices.
Use the COM port to connect serial devices such as
mouse or fax / modems. COM1 is identified by the
system as COM1/3.
It serves as the connection between the system and an
external monitor.
Use the 1394a port to connect to any firewire device.
It is the connection between an RJ-45 jack and the
system.
Use the USB ports to connect USB devices.
The D port is for stereo line-in jack, while the F port is for
microphone in signal. This main board supports eight-
channel audio devices that correspond to the A, B, C,
and E port respectively. In addition, all of the three
ports, B, C, and E provide users with both right and left
channels individually.
• A: Center & Woofer
• B: Back Surround
• C: Side Surround
• D: Line-in
• E: Front Out
• F: Mic-in Rear
The above port definition can be changed to
NOTE:
audio input or audio output by changing the driver
utility setting.
