Dismantling, 334T, 338XPT
WARNING!
The fuel used in the chain saw has the follow-
ing hazardous properties:
• The fluid and its vapour are poisonous.
• Can cause skin irritation.
• Is highly inflammable.
1. Dismantle the chain and bar. See the Operator Guide.
2. Dismantle the carburettor cover (R).
3. Dismantle the air filter (S), the two bolts and the air filter
holder (U). These versions of air filter holder and filter
(shown in the diagram) apply to saws manufactured from
serial number 8500309 onwards.
4. Slide out the choke lever (Y) using a screwdriver.
5. Pull off the fuel hose (V) using long nosed pliers.
6. Pull out the carburettor a little and unhook the throttle (X).
Now pull out the carburettor completely.
