Buttons

The manboard has numerous on-board buttons to control varous functons. Ths
secton wll explan how to change your manboard's functons through the use of these
on-board buttons.
OC1: OC Gene Button
Ths button s used to automatcally overclock the system. Press ths button once
whle the system s off to enable OC Gene. The button wll lock reman depressed
untl t s pushed agan to dsable OC Gene. On the next boot, the OC Gene utlty wll
automatcally overclock the CPU settngs to optmal performance values. To dsable
OC Gene, power off the system and press the OC Gene button agan. The button wll
depress and the CPU configuraton settngs wll return to normal values.
Important
Please nstall DDR3 1333 or faster memory and equp a better heatsnk/cooler to use

the OC Gene functon.
• We do not guarantee the OC Gene overclockng range or the damages/rsks caused
by overclockng behavor.
• It s possble to dsable the OC Gene functon n the BIOS setup. Please refer to the
BIOS secton of the manual for nstructons on how to turn off OC Gene from the
BIOS.
• The usage of OC Gene s at the user's own rsk. Overclockng s never guaranteed
by MSI.
To ensure successfully OC Gene usage, MSI components are recommended.
