Reference Manual for the Model DG814 DSL Modem Internet Gateway
The rear panel contains the following features (from left to right):
Power switch
18 V AC power adapter outlet
Four Local (LAN) Ethernet ports for connecting the gateway to the local PCs
Factory Default Reset push-button
ADSL (WAN) port, with two identical connectors, for connecting the gateway to the ADSL
service provider. One of the ports can be connected to a telephone using an external
microfilter.

Connecting the Gateway

Before using your gateway, you need to do the following:
Connect your local Ethernet network to the Local port(s) of the gateway (see
