Assembly
IMPORTANT:This unit is shippedwithout gasolineor oil in the engine.Be
certainto fill the enginewith gasolineandoil asinstructedbeforeoperating
yourmachine.
Requiredtools: A Philips head screw driver
1. Remove the chipper from its carton
Remove staples, break glue on top flaps, or cut tape at carton end and peel
along top flap to open carton.

5. Attaching the chipperfunnel

Thefirst step is to attachthe 2 handlesto the sidesof the funnel using
the wrenchprovidedanda Phillipsheadscrewdriver (Figure3). Tighten
the nuts securely.
•
Thesecondstep is to placethe funneloverthe openingon the chipper
box,ensuringthe rubbergasketis correctlyaligned. Securethe funnel
usingthe two "swing upbolts" andthe onefixed bolt usingthe wrench
provided. Tightenthe nuts securely (Figure4).

5. Attachingthe Side Chipper Chute
•
Placethe chipperchuteoverthe
four bolts protrudingfrom the
side of the chipperboxand
securethe nuts tightly usingthe '
wrenchprovided(Figure5).

6. Attachingthe chip collection bag

Placethe metal grommetsof the bagoverthe wire loopslocatedat the
baseof the engine. Wrapthe bagunderthe bottomof the discharge
chuteandpull the drawstringtightly andsecureit.
7. Attachingthe trailer hitch
•
Placethe trailer hitch into the socketat the baseof the chipperoverthe
axle assembly. Insertthe pin andsecurewith the locking c otterpin.
8. Re-connectthe sparkplug wire
