2. Install the two batteries on top of the
ribbon as indicated by the polarity
symbols (+ and –) marked inside the
compartment.
3. Close the cover.
When the volume weakens or the sound
distorts, replace the batteries.
Warning: Dispose of
promptly and properly. Do not burn or
bury them.
Caution: If you do not plan to use batter-
ies in the cassette player for a week or
more, remove the batteries. Batteries can
leak chemicals that can destroy electron-
ic parts.
