Emergency numbers

By default, the country-specific emergency numbers are entered. These cannot be
edited or deleted. You may enter five emergency numbers of your own choice.

An emergency number may also be dialled from a handset with limited
authorisation (e. g. Internal only).

If your telephone is connected to a PABX, you must enter the valid access

code (e. g. 0 ; see page 116) before the emergency number. This also
applies to preset emergency numbers, for which you need to re-enter an
alternative, e. g. "0110" and "0112".
Dialling emergency numbers
Requirement: The handset is blocked for external dialling (page 83).

If the dialled number does not match the emergency number entered, the call is
rejected with the display "Number is not emergency no.".

Select list entry, e. g. <no entry>.
Press the display key to open the submenu.
To set up or edit an emergency number:
Confirm.
OK
Enter new emergency number (up to 32 digits) or
edit existing emergency number. You can also copy
the number from the directory s or call-by-call list
C.
Press the display key to open the submenu.
Confirm.
OK
To view an emergency number:
Select and confirm.
OK
To delete an emergency number:
Select and confirm.
OK
Press the Talk key.
Press the display key.
Dial emergency number.
Enter the emergency number.
