Power and Power-Up Modes
The Battery Pack is a lithium-ion polymer battery, which can explode if not
properly replaced, used, handled or disposed of. Dispose of the battery as
required by local ordinances or regulations. Use only batteries
recommended by TOSHIBA as replacements.
1. Be sure the computer's power is off and all cables are disconnected.
2. Insert the Battery Pack.

3. Secure the battery lock.
High Capacity 2nd Battery Pack
Before you connect the High Capacity 2nd Battery Pack, make sure you
turn off the computer and disconnect the AC Adaptor and any other
external devices.
Connecting the High Capacity 2nd Battery Pack
Follow the steps below to connect the computer to the High Capacity
2nd Battery Pack.
The High Capacity 2nd Battery Pack is a lithium-ion battery, which can
explode if not properly replaced, used, handled or disposed of. Dispose of
the battery as required by local ordinances or regulations. Use only
batteries recommended by TOSHIBA as replacements.
1. Be sure the computer's power is off and all cables are disconnected.
2. Lay the computer upside down.
3. Open the latches on the High Capacity 2nd Battery Pack and fit a tab
on the battery into the docking hole on the underside of the computer.
