[INITIAL SET]
Set to [YES] for changing the menu settings back to the default condition.
≥ Settings for [MEDIA SELECT]

[Auto Cursor Position]
The entered character is confirmed in approx. 1 second at the time of character input, and
the cursor is moved to right.
It makes the input easy without moving the cursor when characters on the same key are to
be entered again.
≥ Character input screen is displayed in following conditions:
j When registering [FACE RECOG.]. (l 57)
j When setting [TITLE SETUP] for the Highlight Playback. (l 81)
[NUMBER RESET]
Set the file number of the iFrame and still picture recorded next to 0001.
≥ Folder number is updated and file number will start from 0001. (l 121)
≥ To reset the folder number, format the SD card and built-in memory, and then perform
[NUMBER RESET].
≥ Please be aware that if a medium is formatted, then all the data recorded on the medium
will be erased and cannot be restored. Back up important data on a PC, DVD disc etc.

≥ When formatting is complete, touch [EXIT] to exit the message screen.
≥ Perform a physical formatting of the SD card when the SD card is to be disposed/
transferred. (l 139)
≥ Do not turn this unit off or remove the SD card, while formatting. Do not expose the unit to
vibrations or shock.
Use this unit to format media.
Do not format an SD card using any other equipment such as a PC. Otherwise it
may not be possible to use the card on this unit.
